MWHA Award Picnic is coming up. Sunday, November 21st. 12-4 pm. at Howard County Fairgrounds. The date is incorrect on the form below. If weather is nice we are going to try and have Picnic at the show rings. So bring a chair.

Our next MWHA show is Sunday, September 19th at 8:30 am. The judge will be Ray Burchett.

This is our last pointed show. If you need your Volunteer hours this is the last time you can get them. Check with me at the entry booth. 

Please pre-enter if you were not at the last show. It will speed up your time that you spend at the entry booth. 

Points have been posted on the website. They will also be sent in an email and posted on Facebook.

We are having a Versatility Fun Show on October 10th. Cost: $40.00. 
Come on out and have a great time.

We have our 2022 Show Dates: April 10, May 1, June 5, June 12, June 19, July 17, August 13 (FAIR), August 21, September 18 and October 9 (Versatility Fun Show).

We are also planning a Full Slate ECCRA Show; the date is to be determined.

WOW!!! Have we had a busy HOT week. The shows were well attended and we had a great time, even though it was almost a 100 degrees.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Howard County Fair and MWHA.

MWHA is going to be very busy this year at the fair! 

• On Tuesday, August 10th,  Heidi and Sam Kern will be putting on a Barrel Demonstration, between approximately 5 to 6pm. 
• On Wednesday, August 11th, we are having a Fun Show .  To download Fun Show flyer, click here. 
• We are also doing a Versatility Stakes Class Jackpot on Friday August 13th. Should be lots of Fun! Their will be added money! Click here to download the Versatility Stakes Class Jackpot flyer. 

RAFFLES: The raffle of the Show Cart with Saddle Rack was won by Isaac Thompson (Megan's dad). Congratulations, Isaac!

Our next raffle will be for two different raffles, you can choose one. One is for a western bridle and the other is for two show rugs. You pick one. These are two (2) separate raffles, but will be drawn the same day. The rugs make a nice appearance outside your trailer to use for your chairs, and so on.  Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00. 

PATTERNS:  Patterns are uploaded for our August 14th Show. Please note that Mini Horse Trail has been updated, it is now with Pleasure Trail W/J. Western Pleasure W/T/L has been updated. In Hand Trail will be the new updated Mini Horse Trail pattern.

We need some volunteers for the Friday and Saturday shows. If you need to get your hours, now will be a good time.  Make sure to check your volunteer hours and points. Make sure all names are spelled correctly. If any questions or concerns please contact me right away.

Please remember that this is the Fair Show. We can only accept Cash or Checks.  Checks need to be made payable to Howard County Fair. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Our next MWHA show is July 18th and it's our Christmas in July! Be sure you and your horse are all decked out and decorated in your best Christmas attire. One of Santa's helpers might stop by. Danielle Sheppard will be our judge.

We will as usual have our Cake Walk with a Christmas theme. Come and have fun with the cake walk. You do not need a horse, just come and walk and maybe win a prize!

At this show we are raffling off the show cart with saddle rack. Get your tickets. $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00. What a great deal!

Don't forget about your volunteer hours. Six (6) annual awards will be presented in each class that is eligible for annual awards.  IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A YEAR-END AWARD RIDER/HORSE COMBINATION MUST SHOW IN A MINIMUM OF 4 POINTED SHOWS AND SHOW IN EACH CLASS AT LEAST 3 TIMES AND VOLUNTEER A MINIMUM OF 4 HOURS FOR THE TOTAL SHOW SEASON AND DURING THE SHOW SEASON. 

The volunteer work may be done by an individual member, a family member or a representative for the member. IT IS THE MEMBER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THAT VOLUNTEER HOURS ARE CORRECTLY RECORDED WITH THE SHOW CHAIR ON THE DAY THE WORK IS PERFORMED.

We have five (5) shows left. We are having a new raffle. We are raffling off a Show Cart with Saddle Rack. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00. Help support your club.

Our show on July 18, will have Christmas in July theme. So wear your "ugly" Christmas sweater (shirt) and have some fun with us. We are hoping one of Santa's helpers will stop by for the festivities. We will be giving out lots of presents during the cake walk.
